Clinical Approach:

I provide individual, group and family therapy in the VOA High School as well as psychological assessment in the residential treatment centers and outpatient. In the high school I see students enrolled in the school ranging from 16-21. Psychological assessment is all ages, but primarily adolescents and pre-adolescents. I view the relationship as the primary mechanism of change in treatment and focus on helping individual develop their capacity to manage complex emotions and interpersonal situations.

Areas of experience and interest:

I have been in the mental health field for the past 8 years in various roles as I completed my master's and doctoral training as well as work experiences. My past experiences have included psychological assessment in a variety of outpatient, residential and hospital settings. I also have completed two years of practicum/internships in college counseling and community mental health. In addition, I have over two years of experience working in private practice settings doing outpatient therapy. I am especially interested in personality assessment and working with individuals who have experienced trauma.
