Clinical Approach
I provide individual therapy, family therapy, play therapy, and DBT therapy serving children, adolescents, adults, and families in the school and outpatient setting. I aim first and foremost to build a sincere and trusting relationship using compassion, humor, and authenticity--while also integrating techniques from mindfulness, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.
Areas of experience and interest
I have nine years of experience supporting and building relationships with children and adolescents through my work within community-engagement organizations, schools, and a foster care agency. I support those experiencing emotional difficulties including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, and difficulties adjusting to major life transitions.
