Mental Health Therapist
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program and New Hope Outpatient
I provide individual and family mental health therapy as well as directive and non-directive forms of play therapy mainly working with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing population. Although my therapeutic approach to working with clients depends on the individual's needs, I tend to follow a client-centered approach including aspects of play therapy with children, teens, and adults. I have also worked for 19 years as a certified ASL interpreter in K-12 educational settings as well as medical and mental health settings.
Areas of experience and interest
I am very interested in the developmental process of attachment through communication, or the lack of communication, and the affects across one's lifespan.
