Clinical Approach
I provide individual therapy, group therapy, and school social work. I believe clients are the best experts of themselves and approach all my work through a trauma-informed lens, upholding the client’s worth and dignity as a unique person, believing that every individual possesses the skills and ability to grow, change, and thrive.
Areas of experience and interest
I have been in the social service field for 2 years including working with teenagers and young adults with complex mental health, emotional, and behavioral needs. I have worked with at-risk youth in various settings for the last 4 years including an inner-city afterschool program, special education classrooms, a behavioral health hospital, and a juvenile detention center. I am very passionate about working with youth involved in the juvenile justice system as well as children, teenagers, and young adults with emotional/behavioral challenges, grief and loss issues, and exposure to trauma.
