Audience Types

RSVP seeks volunteers 55+ to help increase older driver safety by becoming a CarFit technician. CarFit events rely on trained volunteers to take drivers through a 12-point safety check-up, focusing on seat belt use, mirror and seat adjustments, and more. CarFit is not a driver assessment, but rather a public education program centered on person-to-vehicle fit. Have fun with other volunteers while learning and helping seniors! Volunteers will attend a 4-hour training, and then help with ongoing CarFit events as their schedule allows. Mileage reimbursement and other RSVP benefits available.

RSVP partners with many non-profit organizations and literally has hundreds of volunteer opportunities in focus areas like Independence for Seniors and People with Disabilities, Literacy, Hunger, Housing, Economic Opportunity, and Veterans and Military Families. Please call us today and let us help you find your passion for volunteering.
