Grocery Distribution Assistant

The Food Group is a local equity that has worked for over 45 years to provide good food to those who need it most in our community. The Food Group program, Fare For All, brings healthy, affordable food to neighborhoods throughout the Twin City area.

The monthly volunteers with Fare For All work with customers by informing them about the current offerings, promotions, and surveys. Volunteers may also answer questions about programs.

Next, volunteers help put the items into a shopping cart as the customer make their payment. And lastly, volunteers assist those customers in need of help to the parking lot and their cars. Work may include: food distribution, filling grocery orders, and general customer service.

Shifts are 2 to 2 ½ hours. Most are once per month.
