Daily Living Skills

Our caring direct support professionals help people learn valuable living skills which can help build confidence and independence. These include hygiene support, cooking and cleaning, or financial and health care management.

Community Integration

Everyone wants to feel valued in their community. Our direct support professionals help people develop interpersonal and communications skills, participate in leisure and recreation activities, and connect with their communities.

A warm and welcoming home

We all need help sometimes. People with disabilities often need home-based services to support their needs and to live as independently as possible in the community they want to call home. This includes assistance with daily activities, such as getting dressed, taking medication, preparing meals, job coaching, residential supports, and managing money. Our compassionate direct support professionals (DSPs) provide this support to people with disabilities in the comfort of a warm, welcoming home environment.

Our DSPs help build interpersonal and communications skills and work closely with day programs and/or employers to help the people they serve build community connections and thrive in community.

Every person is unique, which is why we never use a one-size-fits-all approach. Services are tailored to the person’s individual needs and goals.

Find a Place to Call Home

Kevin, 28, has lived in one of our seven Wisconsin homes for people with high needs for nearly six years. That’s real progress. His disability requires the services of two caregivers, round the clock. For the 15 previous years Kevin had endured 42 placements, in a string of group homes and institutions.

“The bond between our direct care workers and residents like Kevin builds a level of trust that has clearly changed his life,” said staff person Carla. Kevin finally has a stable home and a place in the community.

With his caregivers along-side, Kevin works part-time in the summer and has a membership at the local YMCA. He communicates better about his needs and helps around his house.

All people deserve a place to call home.
