Group leaders
Group Leaders are needed to run specialty group sessions, such as AA or NA groups, or groups focusing on areas of diversity relevant to our youth (Talking Circles, GLBT, etc.).

Internships
Internships are available for volunteers who are attending college and are in need of internship hours.

Specialty volunteers
Specialty volunteers are needed for assisting with one-time projects on-site, such as spring landscaping, painting, etc. If you, or a group of individuals, are looking to volunteer your time for an afternoon or weekend, please contact us.

Youth mentors
Spend time being a friend to an adolescent in need! Provide role-modeling and a positive influence through hanging out, sharing activities and good conversation. Youth mentors are individuals/couples who will mentor an Avanti resident for 6-9 months. Youth mentors will be matched up with one youth resident and will meet their youth weekly or biweekly.

Assist in the weekly Spirituality Group Sessions held on units. These Spirituality sessions focus on helping our residents to establish core values and utilize the viewpoints of and information from many religions and spiritual traditions. Opportunities to assist with weekly Bible studies or Christian based Chapel services on agency are also available.
