CarFit Technician
Contact: Jyni Koschak, 612-704-6116
RSVP seeks volunteers 55+ to help increase older driver safety by becoming a CarFit technician. CarFit events rely on trained volunteers to take drivers through a 12-point safety check-up, focusing on seat belt use, mirror and seat adjustments, and more. CarFit is not a driver assessment, but rather a public education program centered on person-to-vehicle fit. Have fun with other volunteers while learning and helping seniors! Volunteers will attend a 4-hour training, and then help with ongoing CarFit events as their schedule allows. Mileage reimbursement and other RSVP benefits available.
